Dry Martini
An all time classic cocktail, consisting of a liberal measure of Gin and a dash of dry vermouth, vigorously stirred together and garnished to your liking
Gibson
The slightly more understated relation of the Martini family, the Gibson is garnished with a pearl cocktail onion.
Classic Champagne Cocktail
One for the ladies. A delightful combination of a bitters soaked sugar cube, brandy and Champagne. Always remember to ‘build’ this drink in that order or you will end up with a Champagne volcano, trust me, I’ve done it myself!!
Bellini
A simple yet effective Cocktail, consisting of Peach Schnapps & Champagne, garnished with an Orange Slice.
Bloody Mary
There are so many variations of this classic. At Storm we use Vodka, Tomato Juice, Spices, Lemon Juice & Seasoning. Served in an ice filled highball glass and garnished with a slice of lemon and a twist of black pepper. I’ve always found the Bloody Mary is definitely best served shaken and not stirred!! This way you can be sure that the spices will be tasted throughout the whole drink!!
Brandy Alexander
The perfect nightcap. Brandy, crème de Cacao and cream all shaken together and served in a chilled Martini Glass, garnished with Nutmeg. It’s a bit like a naughty Chocolate milkshake!!
Brandy or Whisky Sour
A cheek twitching amalgamation of Brandy (or Whisky), Lemon Juice and Sugar Syrup shaken together, poured into a crushed ice filled Martini Glass, and lovingly garnished with a twist of lemon
Dawa
This little number originates from Africa. Lime & Sugar are crushed together using the same method as the Mojito, whole ice and Vodka are then added. Add a Honey coated ‘Dawa Stick’ and see what happens, garnish with a Lime wedge to finish
Manhattan
Did you know that more New Yorkers are injured each year while arguing about how the perfect Manhattan is made than any other Cocktail!! Bourbon Whiskey & Sweet Vermouth mixed together over ice then poured into a chilled Martini Glass, and finally garnished with a Maraschino Cherry
Rob Roy
For those people ‘this side of the pond’ the Rob Roy is the same as the Manhattan, the only difference being the Rob Roy is made using Scotch Whisky (oh, and no fighting either!!)
Sea Breeze
Often described as a sunny day at the seaside in a glass. The Sea Breeze is a refreshing combo of Vodka, Cranberry & Grapefruit, stirred together, poured into an ice filled highball and garnished with a nice wedge of lime, brilliant!!
White Russian
One for after dinner. Vodka, Kahlua & Double Cream all thrown into a shaker and shaken to within an inch of it’s life, then poured into an ice filled highball. Garnished with a sprinkling of chocolate and a couple of straws. It really is that simple!!
B& B
Simple is always best, and in the case of a B& B it really is simple. Brandy, Benedictine, crushed ice and a Margarita glass, superbly subtle!!
Margarita
Tangy, refreshing and sophisticated. This all time favourite is made using Gold Tequila, Triple Sec & Lime Juice, all shaken together and served in a salt-rimmed Margarita glass, garnished with a lime wedge and straws
Mojito
A wonderful fusion of Golden Rum, Lime & Mint. Firstly the Mint and Rum are muddled together to extract as much mint flavour as possible, Lime Juice, Sugar Syrup and crushed ice are added, then it is topped up with a little soda and garnished with a lime wedge and a couple of straws
Open every evening from 6.30pm (last orders 9.30pm), and Sunday lunch from 12 – 2pm. To make a reservation call Storm on 01423 560666
